fipart raised a second round of financing from its investors
Stuttgart, 04/26/2011: fipart GmbH, an e-business platform for the aeronautical industry, announced today that it has raised a second round of financing from its investors, Prinz von Hohenzollern Capital GmbH & Co KG (PvH Capital) and the KfW Bankengruppe. Both have invested the same amount.
The amount and terms of the financing were not disclosed. The new money follows an initial financing by both investors in October 2009. Continue reading

“A lot of people don’t realize that free membership covers most of the core processes an aviation professional handles on a daily basis, the most important of which is locating parts,” says Alexandra Enderle, fipart’s marketing director. “For most of our users, that’s all they need and premium membership is not even necessary,” adds Enderle. “By offering this service for free, we want to increase the number of users on fipart because, ultimately, that benefits everyone.” Continue reading
