New website, quality rating features, noticed by leading publications

Since the launch of our new platform at the beginning of May, more and more people have started to take notice of our new features, in particular our Quality Rating. We have not only seen an increase in registrations but also a flurry of activity in the specialized press.

In its Paris Air Show Special Edition, Aircraft Technology, Maintenance & Engineering ran a feature titled “Transparency in the Supply Chain” that provided a good comparison of the leading platforms. Partsbase, Stockmarket.aero, Aeroxchange and fipart were interviewed on their key features and differentiating factors.  ILSmart was mentioned but not interviewed. We think the article represented fipart in a positive light and we summarized the reason why a company should switch to fipart in this new microsite (http://www.switch2fipart.com/).

A couple of weeks later, it was German magazine Aerotec that came out with a feature called “Finally, honest answers to RFQs” where they discussed our Quality Rating system. And finally, we gave an in-depth interview to AviationWeek’s MRO magazine “Overhaul and Maintenance” for their September issue, although a mention of our marketing approach was included in one of their blogs.
