fipart’s mission is to bring together real quality business partners and create a high-quality online experience for the aviation procurement community. Doing so, we needto root out the bad business partners and reward the good ones. Therefore we developed the brand new quality rating, configured for, and adapted to, the needs of the aviation industry. Based on a carefully balanced combination of statistical information and user feedback, the user and company Quality Rating score provides a accurate depiction of how people operate on the platform. Displayed prominently on the website, and integrated into the seach functions, the rating supports users in making sound business decisions. Totally New Search Engine
This state-of-the-art technology allows users perform simultaneous keyword searches in indexes for flying parts, parts repair, products, services, people and companies. The system even searches the website of the companies enrolled on fipart. Results are shown by relevance in side-by-side tabs. Individual items can be sorted by any of the information displayed. Upgraded PREMIUM users have the ability to take full advantage of the search engine by refining the search results through a rich list of options. They can also group the results into various views for more efficient display and analysis.
Preferred and Blocked Companies
Preferring or blocking a company is an easy way to categorize potential business partners. Your specific categorization is saved for all your company users to see, thus easily implementing approved vendor lists or buyer black lists. The categorization is displayed prominently in the serach results and on profiles. It also affects the Quality Rating of the targeted companies.
Upgraded PREMIUM users have the added capability to refine search results by selecting only preferred companies or hiding blocked companies.
Concistent and Better Oragnized Profiles
The basic information in a user or company profile has been upgraded to include only the most relevant and important information including Quality Rating and preferred status. The profiles have been redesigned to adopt the concistent look of the rest of the system and increase usuability. We have also added business type and industrial sector information to each account to allow companies to be grouped and categorized more efficiently.
Finally, we have reorganized the company’s offering under three main categories. The former “Parts” function has been reorganized into “Flying Parts” by which we mean any part that is attached to an aircraft. The former “capabilities” function is now called “parts repair“. We have also added a new “products & services” section to handle other aviation offerings such as tools, inflatables, ground service equipment, MRO stations, or aircraft paining.
All of these new functions are available today and many additional development are planned.
